"investing"investing. No wonder, because it means having to spend your money, but it can be well-spent money if it's invested in the right assets.
The question is why don't Filipinos invest?
Not all Filipinos are hanging below the poverty line, the thing is. "Attitude and actions," said Rex Mendoza, a leading investment expert and president of Rampver Financials, when asked why they believe Filipinos don't invest." Delayed gratification is not easy for Filipinos. Most of us are living in the moment.
It rings true. As you can see on social media, many Filipinos can afford to shop for the latest fashion trends or gadgets, buy a new car, or wait until midnight to book cheap flights in different parts of the country and even abroad. These both provide instant gratification. It goes to show that many Filipinos have the money to grow, but not all of them are wisely investing it or putting it into various investment vehicles.
