The only safe non-organic products we recommend are local products where you can question the farmers about how they grow the food and what they use. Otherwise, you're faced with heavy emissions.

On the other hand , a non-organic commodity should be preferred if you choose between organic and non-organic processed foods. It is clear that a conventional vegetable would be better than processed foods. The more expensive the crop, the more pesticides will be used to protect it, especially on holidays.

In spring, one of the most protected crops is strawberries. In the southern areas, they are used for Valentine's Day. Sprays are overused by farmers because of the need for tall, perfect berries.

One of the most highly sprayed crops is fruits, along with corn , soy, and wheat. It is safe to assume that every fruit has chemicals on it, whether synthetic or organic.

In those hidden places, contaminants and debris tend to collect fruit with lots of folds and pitting. Thus, the more bumpy the fruit is, the more you can choose organic or local.

Apples are also sprayed heavily, and many organic sprays are often used by organic growers. Stick to organic and local apples to avoid the worst of the pollution.
