Trusting Remote Workers The New Normal #infographic

By 2019, one in ten Americans had been working from home at least once a week, but with Covid-19 increasingly closing businesses around the world, more employers are sending their staff home indefinitely. Perhaps at-home workers would be too distracted by the events of daily life that take place around them? Will they be focused, and productive?

Indeed, while reducing stress levels and enjoying a better work-life balance, the vast majority of remote workers increase productivity and focus. With staff at homeworking organizations, 106 per cent have more commitment at work. Showing confidence in employees helps 76 per cent of employees feel more involved in tasks.

Respect also means lower stress levels, with the study finding that 74 per cent of staff claim they feel valued when working remotely reduces stress levels. Forty percent of workers say that when they feel appreciated at their business they are less likely to be burnout. Although feeling valued when working at home, 29 per cent show a higher overall satisfaction with their lives.
