According to Headset Inc, most US consumers spend between $25-$50 on each trip to the marijuana store.
During the same year the average amount each U.S. user spends on cannabis products is about $645 annually. About 48 per cent of those consumers spend on cannabis between $500 and $2,500 a year.
Yet in 2019, based on New Frontier Data, the amount US consumers spend on marijuana products each month was estimated at $5.8 billion. That is about $206.5 million a day, or about $1.45 billion a week.
Additionally, New Frontier Data also showed that the revenue from the 2019 illicit cannabis market was estimated to have generated revenue of $70 billion. But the U.S. legal medical & recreational cannabis industry stood at $13.6 billion that same year, and is estimated to reach $29.7 billion by 2025.
The estimated cumulative U.S. demand for cannabis totalled $83.6 billion in 2019 (both legal and black-market sales). And according to Eaze, US customers place a cannabis order every 8 seconds.
