What is CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)? #Article

I have been using CRO (conversion rate optimization) along with my SEO tactics as a full-time affiliate marketer for quite a few years now, with mind-blowing results.

When I come across online websites that seem to "tick" all the right boxes when it comes to SEO, it blows me away but their content strategy and CRO are pure horse-shit.

I've had online ads that earned me $250,000 in pure income in just seven days, not because I'm a kind of marketing genius (I'm not really), but because I was smart enough to integrate CRO into what I've been doing.

Believe it or not, it does NOT take a lot of time for CRO and the results of your research will easily make the profit margin 10x or more. So let's cut to the pursuit:


What is CRO ​Exactly?


CRO explains in the simplest possible terms the percentage of visitors to a website which becomes actual customers. The more clients, the better - of course.

Anything in the online world numbers. The more people you visit your website, the greater your future customers.

CRO is just checking the forms and CTA's for a lot of people, but there is also quite a bit more to it than just that.


But having people visit your website isn't enough.

I'll answer CRO in this post clearly from a blogging perspective. I'm not even going to go into the A / B test and the CTAs etc.

When you're trying to make money on your website, but don't plan your traffic properly, attracting a lot of traffic won't do you a whole lot of good.


I can break down CRO into 2 very simple steps:


    > What you need is to find a way to become consumers at as high a percentage of site visitors as 
        possible.

    >   The higher percentage of visitors to the site who are clients, the more money the online                       business  can earn.


It really is that simple. 

Unfortunately, it isn't as easy as wanting to boost your CRO.

You need to use tactics designed to get tourists to the site to follow through and become paying clients.

Once you learn these strategies, you'll be able to optimize your profits and help grow and thrive your business.

1. Make A Human Audience Your Priority ​



​You need to implement an SEO strategy for your website. ​

SEO is short forSearch ​Engine ​Optimization.

This is essentially a way to organize text and media on your website in a way that makes this draw search engine interest. SEO is important to get your company noticed.

It should not be the only thing you're concentrating on when you put material on your website, though.

Content that has been designed for search engines may be great at attracting search engines 'attention, but it is not always the best way to hold visitors' attention once you hit your site.

Despite of this, concentrating on delivering content that makes sense while reading means the search engine is optimized is more important.



After all, if you keep visitors to your website interested then they are going to be much more likely to become a paying customer. 

2. Provide Content That Is Useful And Integrates Conversion Links




If you want your website users to become clients, you'll need to show them some money.

That means you have to give them content that they enjoy reading while still educating them about the subject.

Besides offering them great content, you should also be cautious when putting links in that content that will lead them to becoming a customer.


What you ​DON'T want to do is to put a button or bold piece of text asking people to click on it.

Instead, you can make a keyword in the text a connection that leads a website visitor to a portion of your website that will make them a source of revenue for you.


That method is far more important than inviting them overtly to click a link. In this way, you allow them to become a client, rather than challenging them outright.

You do want to make sure that you keep the ties important to the content in which they are put.

3. Use Photos, Graphics, Videos, And Other Visuals To Make Your Website More Interesting


If you want to get someone to turn around easily by clicking on your link, then by all means have a dull website that presents the details in the form of huge blocks of text.

But, if you want a company with a real chance to succeed then do the exact opposite. If there's one thing the online community needs to consider, it's that there's a massive amount of competition out there.

No matter what niche your online business occupies, there will be other businesses that are fighting you for the same customers in the same niche.

What you need to do is make sure your website's as good as possible.

What are you doing? You do it by breaking all the text with visuals, as I do with this very message.

Images, graphics, and every other kind of visual are perfect ways to catch someone visiting your website's attention, while breaking up the big wall of text that will send most people in the opposite direction.

 The content you provide has to be compelling, but it also has to be visually appealing to the people that visit your site. Study any post on my website (well, the newer ones) and you'll see exactly what I mean. 


If your site is not using graphics to split text, you might be able to bet that your competitors are.

Which means they're definitely going to take business from you, which is the last thing you want.



4. Keep Your Website On Point


When you first decide to start an online business your first instinct will be to try to attract as many tourists as possible by expanding the topic covered by your website.

For instance, if you have a camping equipment website you may be tempted to expand into survival gear, then self-defense gear etc. Although this may sound like a smart idea, the fact is in principle that doing so will potentially reduce the amount of traffic the website receives.


How can an attempt to reach a wider audience reduce your website's number of visitors?

Think about this, how often do you sit down and type in the web address for a site you're visiting if you've never visited the site before?

Possibly your answer will be uncommon, or even never. And you use a search engine to find the kind of websites that you're interested in, just like the rest of the population.

The argument here is that you, like everyone else who uses the internet, are dependent on search engines to find what you want.

Do you know what search engines use as web crawlers when they are searching for a website? We prefer websites that concentrate on their niche and have well-organized content related to it.

Not only will staying focused on your website draw more traffic to your site, it will draw the right kind of visitors.

This would draw tourists to your platform who are interested in your site's subject matter, and they will be more likely to become paying customers.

So by keeping your website focused, you can potentially push the need for how many visits to your website becoming a source of revenue for you in a positive direction.
