With communications being more advanced than ever, there is a huge rise in the number of people employed outside an office (40 per cent growth over the past five years). Technologies such as Skype and Slack allow staff to communicate instantly from virtually any location in the world and, in an atmosphere where flexible work arrangements are increasingly being valued, more people are taking advantage of the ability to work from home.

Getting a home office provides many advantages including the avoidance of a time-consuming and potentially blood-boiling commute. Nevertheless, if you are going to work from home, you need to be self-disciplined in order to be as efficient and cooperative as if you are in the watching office of the management.

When working from home, it's not just the innate character qualities but will also decide the productivity level. Your home system will go a long way to make the quality and quantity of your output much easier or more difficult.
