 Snapchat to Offer a New Feature' Snapchat Scan #Article

To its users, Snapchat to Bring a NeSnapchat has always been special in store and now it is about to introduce its' Snapchat Scan ' ad alternative whereby users can trigger a brand logo and have a distinct experience with AR.

Originally, according to AdWeek, Coca Cola and McDonalds will get to test out the new app. Snapchat users should scan the brand logos the app can recognize and give users an immersive and enjoyable experience.

Snapchat is being lauded for its latest app. But while the social media site has been trying to make this happen for quite some time now, bringing in similar goods.

The spectacles product is an example, snapchat users were able to scan the spectacle logo back in 2016 and activate a special filter.

In 2015 Snapchat presented a overview of the possibilities of such an alternative.

"For example, a photograph containing an object recognized as a restaurant may result in the user being presented with photo filters that overlay a restaurant menu on the picture. Or a photograph containing an object recognized as a type of food may result in the user being presented with photo filters that allow the user to view information such as calories, fat content, cost, etc.

We know that Snapchat has been working on this for quite some time now but we can not be sure why it took Snapchat so long to launch this option. Yet despite of much work yet to be done, Snapchat has already set out on a journey to make it big with the new technology.
