Snapchat Brings ' Transformation Ground ' Ar Effects on App #Article

Snapchat has introduced a new' Earth Transformation' AR effect to make things more enjoyable for users on the app, which, as the name implies, turns the earth into different variations including water and lava through the Snap camera.

In the video posted on tweet, you will see what that looks like.

According to Venture Beat, Snapchat used advanced AR software for the visual effect: "The real-time ground segmentation framework utilizes machine learning models to grasp geometry and semance, naturally isolating land-based artifacts from opposing backgrounds."

Snapchat has previously used similar effects to the segmentation of the sky that users seemed to love. And while those findings may not seem huge, they are showing Snapchat's ability in this regard.

It has recently started testing a new logo recognition feature and while there are only a few brands that have the option available for now, it's full of potential when it comes to advertising.

Snap partnered with Tate Britain, The National Gallery and The Bank of England to also introduce the £ 20 bills.

Snap will open doors to a new approach to brand marketing through creative use cases and-AR applications, and more that may include encouraging consumers to take advantage of discounts and promotional offers.

The ability of Snap to change the floor may not be shocking but it is a sign of what the software can do.
