Over the last decade, 75 per cent of Americans have changed their diets to be safer. And while fad diets have been among the most common including Paleo, Whole30, Ketogenic and Mediterranean, a new decade is already promising a rise in plant-based dietitians. 43 million Americans already eat plant-based options on a regular basis and with restaurants like Red Robin, Subway and Burger King offering their own plant-based foods the range should be even more motivating.

Many are still confused about how plant-based diets differ from vegan or vegetarian diets, and while they are similar, they differ in a few ways. Putting the diet simply means eating foods that are minimally processed, maximizing fruit and vegetable intake, and limiting or eliminating meat, eggs, and dairy products.
