What is Federal Aid? The concept of foreign aid is simply "services provided from one country to another." It involves many kinds of resources, including personnel, money, and donated materials to help others in developing countries from around the world. In a number of situations, foreign aid can help including but not limited to economic development, disaster relief, emergency preparedness and poverty reduction.

This chart by Wristband Resources and Wristband.com explores the amount of foreign aid provided by countries in 2017, as well as revealing the top ten developing countries on the receiving end. The United States, which has provided foreign aid to Afghanistan at $1,218.64 M, is the largest foreign aid donor on the whole infographic.

The US contributed significantly to Ethiopia, Jordan, South Sudan and Kenya. The top contributors to this study include Germany, the Us, the European Union, Japan and France among others.
