Cats are cheerful packages which add value to your life. Cat owners are emotionally attached to them, and are therefore highly important in their lives. Known for their playful behaviour, cats allow their owners to pay a great deal of attention. Often anything you do might not be sufficient to make those little ones feel bored.  Most people don't know why their cats display "abnormal" behavior when it might just be that the cat has reached an inevitable boredom. The diagram here shows the top five reasons for a cat's behavior when bored.

Highest alarm is prolonged sleep. When the cats tend to sleep more than normal, it shows they have nothing exciting to do so when they wake up they choose to sleep more than they remain awake. Second, they seem to crave more food than they used to, even if they aren't only hungry to combat their boredom. However, if your cat shows them suddenly a destructive side, playing with their own things, or randomly running around the entire house, this could be taken as another warning or they might start to be extremely keen on their own grooming and thus overgrooming. Last of all, they might be littering outside their litter box.

All of these signs show your cat is bored and needs more attention and time to play. They should be rushed to a vet if the problem persists.
