Living longer is an objective for which society has worked for many years, and research shows that individuals have a motivation and ambition that is 15 per cent less likely to die in the near future than those who say they feel unobjective and have no objectives. Stress can be a huge detriment as well, stressing the lives, money and jobs of people.

Long-term stress and trauma can in many ways lead to diminished capacity. A good way to relieve pressure from negative thinking is to reframe adverse thoughts and encounters in order to jump into the challenge of life from something unpleasant to another matter.

Just as stress relief benefits both you and your body, research from the University of Michigan has shown that elderly people with low levels of deliberation are 2.4 times more likely to die in the coming years. What would be the result? Living purposefully can lead to a better, longer life.
