In the United States, constitutional law is used to preserve, underline and institutionalize what the nation's civil religion is called by Robert Bellah (1967). Like the USA, the Supreme Court administers the development of the country by giving institutional reference to the authority of the founders of the republic.

The U.S. is no exception in glorifying the "founding fathers" of the country. Moreover, it is alone in the way it seeks to establish a spatial link with these legendary national figures through legislation and interpretation of this law. American constitutional law has the function of reiterating and replicating the values and ideals of the founding fathers.

In this document this fact is clarified by a review of the Columbia v Heller District case (2008). The article deals with two significant U.S. political phenomena relating to constitutional law and the United States. The Second Amendment to the Constitution is well known. First, the basic institutional reverence for the nation's first-time national heroes which began. Second, an appropriate hermeneutic deference to those founding fathers-in-law-that mostly do not suit within the developed world.
