Scientists have been looking for the components that make up our universe for a long time since 9000 B.C.E. to be precise. Copper was the first element to be discovered, followed by other prevalent metals such as gold, silver, iron and lead. These parts were prevalent materials used for many thousands of years by beings.

This infographic investigates the timeline of finding all the components that were discovered on the Periodic Table and who made the discovery. Although between 9000B.C.E. A few parts were discovered. And 10000 C.E., until the 1700s, we see no other findings, after which most of the components on the Periodic Table have been found over the next three decades.

Interestingly, the Periodic Table was not developed until 1869 after most of the components were discovered. Dmitri Mendeleev developed the table for the components to be discovered by future researchers and left blank places. Take a time journey of how the regular table came together and celebrate the many individuals who found the components along the manner.
