The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) functions in humans the same way as in dogs, cats and other livestock. All mammals actually have an endocannabinoid system. This involves, to name a few, horses, rabbits, monkeys, dolphins and elephants. A enormous amount of studies is being carried out around the globe to find out precisely how the ECS could be used to treat various chronic diseases.

In dogs, the endocannabinoid system is component of what retains the body's natural equilibrium and is generally stimulated by in-house endocannabinoids. However, internal cannabinoids, including Cannabidiol (CBD), which is the non-psychoactive compound contained in cannabis sativa, can also stimulate the endocannabinoid system. In today's medical globe, the external stimulus of CBD produces some great excitement.
