WordPress continues to access the Internet #infographic

More than two years ago, we published an infographic about how WordPress developed incredibly. As you understand, the history of tech sector is old two years ago. We have chosen that it was time to revisit the subject. Much has changed over the two years.  The dominance of WordPress isn't there.

To date, WordPress continues the Web's best-known content management system (CMS). The WordPress market dominance remains unchanged and undisputed, even if the Internet has grown and evolved around the platform (compare). With over 60 percent of CMS's market share, it is more common than ever.

Even conservative estimates for the number of websites that operate WordPress are close to 64 million. This is nearly 34% of all websites in the web. At the moment, the platform's greatest contest is not other CMS, but CMS websites.

And this gap is nearing completion. WordPress ' market share in the last five years has increased by a whopping 38 percent. There is also no sign that this growth will stop. WordPress users publish approximately 42 million new posts every month and leave 60.5 million comments.
